[Picture taken a few weeks ago during my trip to New York City. Mural painted by NYC-based artist, Jerkface. His work is mostly cartoon themed, like this one of Richie Rich. And, yes, I get the irony.]
Check out how cool I look against the bright colorful autumn leaves. Seriously, isn’t this coat amazing? I purchased it during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale back in July, and have been patiently waiting to wear it. With the extreme temperature drop this past week, it was the perfect time. It’s thick wool and supple leather is warm and snuggly and will definitely see through this polar vortex.
Two Asymmetrical zippers add versatility to any outfit. The Leather sleeves also unzip to give more room when wearing gloves or thicker sweaters.
I love how the leather sleeves contrast yet highlight the fuzzy blue. Yes, I’m wearing a cat skull. Not because I am allergic to cats, but because it makes me look extra fierce. It was gifted to me by my boyfriend a couple years ago.
I picked up this dainty gold bar earring while I was in New York City. Broken English, the Los Angeles-based jewelry boutique, opened just at the rear of All Saints in SoHo a few months ago. I was excited to finally check it out, and was not disappointed – the store was glamorous yet understated. In awe of their extensive collection, I managed to spot this open triangle piece. Isn’t it darling?
This is probably the only time you will ever see me pair brown and black together in an outfit. My favorite pair of boots have walked through almost four years with me. They were another bargain purchase, marked down because All Saints discontinued the style. Don’t fret, I hear they are bringing it back again soon!
