Black and Blue

Apologies for our little blogging hiatus…

See what we did there?

The weather in Cincinnati has been warming up to really feel like Spring, though that includes lots of rain showers.  Luckily, we were able to experience some sunshine last weekend. We spent Sunday afternoon in Over-the-Rhine and soaked in some vitamin D at Washington Park and had brunch with friends at The Eagle.

With the change in weather we’ve started incorporating a bit more color into our outfits. Blue is an easy transition color from a winter of black, grey and white.

Karen paired her leather skirt with a cozy oversized sweatshirt and completed the effortlessly chic look with black slip-on sneakers. The chevron texture and side zipper detail takes the simple outfit to the next level.

A sucker for any shirt with a collar, Alice wore this bejeweled top (a shirt and a necklace) with staple pieces: coated black jeans and a leather jacket. Along with the sparkly collars, these silver oxford cut-outs were a perfect pop to brighten up the outfit.
