Last week, we were invited to attend the Founders Opening of the new exhibit, High Style, at the Cincinnati Art Museum. High Style traces the evolution of fashion from 1910 through 1980 with garments and accessories by designers including Chanel, Dior, Givenchy, Charles James and more.
The exhibit was beautiful and definitely worth checking out! High Style is here through January 24 and admission is free, so make sure you get there before January!
A few other Thread Cincinnati ladies were also in attendance, so we obviously had to snap a group photo. From left to right: Jordan of A State of Ruin, Olivia of Baubles to Bubbles, Liz of 26 and Counting, Katie of OUT + OUTFIT and Tamia of The Style Sample.
I was excited to have an excuse to wear this dress again – I bought it for another black tie event I attended for work a few years ago and it’s just been hanging in my closet since then, waiting for another chance to come out. It’s made of a lovely jersey-ish material, so it feels like wearing black tie pajamas. Is that a thing?
